How dare you point out the hypocrisy of liberal Democrats and its press--you racist!

You do realize that Barack Obama was born in 1961, right? He was 14 at the time the Vietnam War ENDED. You're now suggesting a kid raised in poverty should have been fighting in Nam?

Well, maybe the fact he has no military experience at all is an advantage.
The great dictators of the past were all proud of being military leaders, and used to portray themselves in uniforms...

The pen is mightier than the sword, McMahon. Seriously, the world doesn't need another corrupt military fanatic to run US.

What happened to you? You used to be funny. Now you're just bitter.

I was born in 1970, and I have military experience. Turns out there is still a military, even after the US pulled out of Vietnam. Barack Obama never signed up for military service, hence he has no military experience. Wasn't even in the National Guard.

Those who have posted their comments about disdain for leaders who served in the military are showing the true colors of liberalism, and that is at least refreshing: they readily admit that they hate military personnel. Whoops! Did you forget that you're still supposed to be spouting the "We oppose the war, but support the troops" nonsense? Yeah, well, nobody believed you anyway. Too bad you didn't have the intestinal fortitude to speak up when Kerry was a candidate--but maybe then it was prudent for a leader to have military experience. Not like now, when things are completely different somehow.

Tom, this coming week will be lighter fare. I DO try to keep a mix on this site.

Well, I thought it was funny. Not as funny as comparing Mccain 2000 to Mccain 2008, or the fact that this Republican is either going to vote for Obama or Barr.

Math Major, if you dabble some history in with your math, you'll notice that in Viet Nam, 14-year-olds DID serve...on the other side. Given how gruesomely we lost that fiasco ^H^H^H^H^H^H "police action", maybe they were on to something.

What's with all the "raised in poverty" BS? His adoptive father was a successful businessman with an oil company that sent him first to a pricey private school, and then moved them to the nicest neighborhood in Indonesia to attend the public school that the Indonesian political leaders send their children to. Then, at ten, he moved in with his grandmother, vice president of the largest bank in Hawaii.
