I thought it was spotted owl eggs.
And it ain't kids, it's the old folks.

I think I'll make this a semi-regular 4-block, it's so popular. I can't think of a way to make Watergate funny, tho. Now G. Gordon Liddy, that's funny!

"Negroes"? Did you just arrive from the pre-civil rights era via time machine? Makes you wonder what other mold and fungus you'd find under that silly hat.

Consider the effect of insisting that they be called "African-Americans," and banning all earlier terms, like "black," "negro," "colored," and the like. It leaves us without a term for them when they reside elsewhere, like Europe. (Yes, people do say silly things like, "I saw a lot of African-Americans when I was in London.")
So just as some homosexuals have "reclaimed" the word "queer," I see no problem with us "reclaiming" words that are more neutral, and less divisive, than the PC term "African-American."
Or are you one of those people who think that the word "niggardly" is racistâ„¢?
