In this century?

It's hilarious to see even Chicago newspeople saying they're shocked by Blagojevich's activities. Shocked? Have they been practicing journalism in a sealed bank vault with no phone or Internet? Are they in the same Chicago that I know? What the heck kind of journalism did these people grow up on? USA Today has a map "proving" that Illinois is less corrupt than North Dakota. Based on what? Convictions. Duh. In Illinois, convictions for political monkeybusiness are rare. Illinois is king!

I meant to write,
"In this century--or the last one?"
As you were.
