I remember how the media was so upset with China/Tiananmen Square and the protests in this country, and then barely a peep out of the same media and no protests in our country, and hardly a peep out of our president, when -- from what I can tell -- it's even worse in Iran.
Ironically, China is more important to us militarily and economically than Iran. While the media was willing to tweak the nose of an important trading / military power, the US media is afraid to confront Obama on a tinhorn dictator.
Oh, that's right; I almost forgot. A Republican was president in 1989; a Democrat is president now.
The hero worship continues.
