How 1960s Grade School Kids Determined If You Were Queer

I should probably add that back in the 1960s for us schoolkids the term "queer" meant something along the lines of "different to the point of being intolerable", or something like that. So in some ways, being called that was worse back then.
And, of course, if you wore the right color clothes the next week, all was forgiven. (Actually, by the time the next day had rolled around, all was forgotten!)
