Of course, it's not about weather, but climate change, and "The Climate Channel" would probably be quite a bit more accurate in its predictions (next year in Florida: humid and semitropical!).

I checked the Farmer's Almanac, and it didn't mention global warming--uh, I mean climate change. Changing terminology makes those folks right whether the temperature goes up or down. Nice way to cover yourself.

I wasn't contesting the term "global warming," I was contesting the "Weather Channel predicts the weather -> Weather Channel predicts global warming" joke. The Weather Channel uses a region's climate to predict the weather, so predicting climate is not really their business.
