I can laugh because here in Pennsylvania, we're going to weather this storm by letting the democrats raise billions in new taxes.

News report in Los Angeles Times today: another company moving out of LA area. The company employs 300 people. The company cannot afford $5 million requirement by state air quality board to retrofit factory, and can't afford California taxes. As state taxes and fees go up, a company paying corporate taxes no longer pays taxes; and the 300 employees no longer pay income taxes, start collecting unemployment insurance, and then unto welfare rolls.

And California is facing bankruptcy, too! The state will be happy to close state parks, lay off policemen & firemen, and let the already-deteriorating roads go to pot, but will the state cut social services--the very social services that would have been saved had not California's über-liberal supreme court not struck down Proposition 187?
