A Brief Moment Of Nostalgia For The Old Male-Dominated Culture

I don't watch tv, but they're ubiquitous enough that I find myself in front of one briefly here and there. Basically all the commercials are for things I have no interest in, but I find a lot of the commercials themselves absolutely fascinating.

I used to find a lot of them to be completely insulting to a person's intelligence, but they seem to have gotten a lot better when faced with all the competition for attention from video games and internetting.

pulley, I find it hilarious that the announcers talk like no one I've ever heard. I find the tone of the announcers to be just completely insulting to my intelligence. Particularly the ESPN guy who says, "brought to you by..."

It's so bad, the put-on voice, that it couldn't win a high school talent show, yet they ALL do it.

Tom--you're nuts! hahaha...

Heh. Oh for the good ole days when men were men!

Have you ever _listened_ to the side effects they have to include in their ads for all those various medications they keep pushing??? The side effects sound worse than most of the original symptoms...!
