The show was also a predecessor to "My Two Dads", giving us Roy Roberts and Robert F. Simons both in the role of Darrin's father, Frank Stephens.

Worse yet, Agnes Kravitz was originally Harriet Kravitz, played by Mary Grace Canfield. Abner no doubt lived his life in fear that he'd come home to a forensics team combing his garden.

Also:

Reta Shaw, Ysabel MacCloskey, and Kay Elliot
... were all Aunt Hagatha.

Erin Murphy & Diane Murphy, Julie Young & Tamar Young, and Heidi Gentry & Laura Gentry
... as all the Tabithas-- er, Tabithae? Well, each was a Tabithum.

More confusing: Elizabeth Montgomery as Samantha, but also Elizabeth Montgomery as Pandora Spox as Sabrina.

Sooo, put THAT in your little two dimensional world there, box-boy... ;)

Dick Seargent could not, just could not TOUCH, York's bulging-eyes-take whenever Aunt Clara would summon up Herman Goering while trying to open a can of peas...It's like Bob Denver trying to follow Olivier.

And really, on the basic US Weasel-scale: Who ya got? Mr. Tate? Or Mr. Haney?

"Serena", not "Sabrina". I sit corrected...

Sadly, Dick York suffered a back injury during the filming of "They Came to Cordura" (is that where corduroy is from?), which is why in some episodes of his last season he never stands--he was on a sofa, or in bed, or something.

He continued to struggle with back pain, as well as addiction to prescription pain killers, for much of the rest of his life. He was largely bedridden, and lost his career, though he did try to make a comeback--too little, too late, I'm afraid. He died of emphysema.

A sad ending to a talented man.

Yeah, Bewitched was one show I got to stay up late for when I was 7 or so. I always preferred Dick York to Dick Sargent, and def. noticed when they switched Gladyses on us.

As far as Sabrina, don't forget Barbara Eden's lack of a navel as both Jeannie and her eeevil brunette sister...
